Probably since it is located so high up on the island (W 192 St & Riverside Dr), I would consider this one of NYC’s top underrated parks. With tons of pathways perfect for running, or strolling around during study breaks like I do (lol), it is an 8 mile stretch of beautiful greenery. It is also home to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Cloisters (ancient Medieval Artwork), a restaurant, bar, multiple dog parks, volleyball courts, and much more! Less crowded than Central Park and honestly, more beautiful scenery during the Fall season in my opinion.
